Exotic Varety Of Fruits and Vegatables

How many of you go to the grocery store and buy the same vegies or fruits each time you go? I am guilty of that too.

I do This because I do not know how the vegetable or fruit is going to taste, I have never tried them and they are new to me.

But I have decided to try the new fruits or vegetables.

Buy one and look up the nutritional value and see how it is prepared, is it eaten raw or do you cook it? You may be surprised at what you find.

It may taste great! But if it is not, then it is good that you only bought one.

I have tried eggplant, a friend,  made lasagna using this vegetable it tasted really good.

I was surprised at how good it was, so I bought one and tried it.

I don’t know what I did wrong, I was so looking forward to it, it just didn’t taste the same.

That does not mean you don’t try it, it just means I should have written the recipe down.

I was so confident that I could remember the recipe. It sounded so easy, just don’t do what I did, I forgot to saute it first.

Another good one is split pea soup, that soup is so delicious if you know how to make it.

My auntie made the best soup, It came out so rich and creamy, my mouth just waters thinking of it.

I had tried pea soup before but it always had a very bad aftertaste to it. So I never learned to make it.

So I asked her for the recipe and she said she would give it to me later, Time went by and I forgot, by the time I remembered she had forgotten the recipe.

I’m sure if you take a few minutes and think of your favorite foods that are all-natural no processed food.

You can remember what food your mom or grandma or dad use to make for you.

I have made a few things from memory when I used to see my mom cook as a child.

In old cookbooks, you can find some real treasures on how they use to make the food back in those days.

Don’t be afraid to try something new you have never made, with a vegetable or fruit you have never tasted.

You can look up the nutrition information, how to prepare it, Taking time to be adventurous with food, and making it fun to cook.

Try being spontaneous in a safe way.

Life is a journey and we need to explore it.

God did not put this vegetation on this earth just for the animals, but for us to enjoy it too.

It is finding out what goes well with another vegetable or fruit.

To make it not only tasty but that it catches your eye and gives you a desire to try it for yourself.

So step out of your comfort zone and give it a try.
