Keep it real

When you decide you had enough and want to lose weight, what are your first thoughts?

What am I going to eat?

Right?

There are so many different foods out there that say fewer calories, taste great, no salt, the list goes on and on.

But my question to you is this, “Should you be eating specially processed food that says it has fewer calories”?

Many companies make a killing every year on people who think they are doing their body good by buying low-calorie meals, and desserts.

But are they?

The only ones losing are the persons who buy them, The winners are the companies that sell them.

When losing weight you want to make your food as tasty as possible.

I know you are thinking, that if you make your food taste good you will gain weight instead of losing.

But that is not true.

Remember that you can talk yourself into anything if you have the right mindset.

Keeping yourself in a positive mindset is very crucial at all times.

It keeps fear and negative thoughts away.

If you feel a negative thought sneaking in, change it with a happy thought.

It may be difficult at first, but as time goes by it becomes easier.

Okay now, how can we make it more enjoyable to lose weight?

Let us start with willpower!

How many of you can resist your favorite food if it is put in front of you?

Many may say “No”!

But guess what?

You don’t have to.

But you do have to have self-control.

You need to be able to take a few bites and push it away.

You are not denying yourself anything, you are only giving your body what it desires.

But not overindulging.

To be able to do this is called discipline.

If you can do this with the food that you have in front of you, you would not have weight problems.

you are keeping it real when it comes to the food that you eat.

Also remember this, in your mind’s eye see your body take the nutrients it needs and let the rest go.

Your mind is very powerful.

It makes your body do what it is told or taught to do.

I know some of you may think, could this be possible?

Yes it is, and it is possible, try it.

Like I said keep it real.

You don’t have to deny your body anything.

You can eat the food you want in moderation.

I don’t mean to sit down and eat everything in sight either.

For example, you go to a potluck and there are many different foods you would like to try, how would you do it, to taste them all?

That includes desserts too.

You take bite-size portions of all the dishes you would like to try!

You don’t miss out on anything.

You give your body the food it craves.

One more thing you need to remember is to drink lots of water.

Because it helps clean out the toxins in your body, which helps melt the fat away.
